For many of the US Free Samples of Free Offers you will access from US Free Stuff you will be asked to enter personal data such as your name, address and date of birth.

Clearly, to receive a free sample via the US mail you will need to provide this personal data.

But be careful. Check the site's privacy policy - at the very least make sure that the site HAS a privacy policy.

There should also be a statement about how your personal data will be utilised and/or protected - have a hunt around for it BEFORE you provide your personal details.

If the site doesn't have a statement of how your personal data will be used or you can't easily find the site's privacy policy, do you really want to entrust them with your sensitive data for that free sample? Safe Surfing!
